Details

Crémant De Loire is the appellation of the Loire valley whose Méthode traditionnelle has the highest requirements: hand-harvesting, light pressing, one year ageing in bottle. Langlois-Chateau strives to uphold higher standards, blending grapes chosen from the best vineyards of Saumur. This Crémant is made from three varieties: Chenin Blanc (60%), Chardonnay (20%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), and ages for a minimum of two years in the cellar. Fresh, elegant and vigorous, with fine bubbles, it epitomizes the terroir of Saumur and the style of Langlois-Chateau.

• Langlois-Chateau manages 175 acres of the best vineyards in the Loire Valley; they maintain a sustainable approach to winemaking and hold the “Terra Vitis” certification

• Grapes are hand harvested in small bins and pressed gently, aging is at least 24 months (versus 12 month minimum), and reserve wines are incorporated

• Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc

• "Persistent tiny bubbles, aromas of lemon pie, lemon curd and a touch of herb and flint. In the mouth it's warm and generous. Balanced with a creaminess on the clean finish. Very good value." - 90 Points, Vinous Media
