Details

Stationed at the intersection of sweet and toasty, where biscuit and caramel malt flavors always have the right-of-way. Conway's. Patrick 'Pa' Conway, beloved grandfather of GLBC Co-Owners Pat and Dan Conway, emigrated from Ireland to the U.S.A. in 1906. A traffic officer stationed near our Ohio City brewery, Pa used his semaphore to direct the flow of vehicles at the corner of West 25th and Detroit Ave. Here's the original photo that inspired this canned tribute to the Conway family patriarch, which has become a staple of Cleveland's popular St. Patrick's Day celebration.
