This fresh, pure red with raspberry, candied cherry and white pepper aromas and spicy dark berry flavors pairs well with robust flavors, particularly grilled or smoked meals. It is produced from vines planted in 1983, growing in the Rioja Doc wine region in clay and sandy soil at 568 m (1,865) elevation. Average temperature during the April-Oct.
